Used for Pneumatic Compression with Cold Therapy
The Air A Med Polar Bear Cryo Pneumatic Shoulder Immoblizer brace is utilized in the treatment of shoulder joint related injuries, post-operative recovery, inflammation, and/or pain.
The brace features a universal design that can be custom fitted to the shoulder by utilizing 2 adjustable straps, and fitted to the torso by using 2 adjustable straps. A soft expansion in the torso strap that goes under the arm allows for a comfortable fit that can be adjusted through two D-rings before secured. The straps are secured by our medical grade hook and loop fasteners.
The adjustable anterior sling allows for shoulder immobilization.

Our integrated approach to Cryotherapy combines cold and localized customizable compression that is designed to assist the patient in the recovery process. It accomplishes this by decreasing swelling, minimizing pain, and increasing blood flow to promote healing.
Our Cryotherapy braces come equipped with a removable gel ice pack that can be placed in the freezer. Our ice pack is encased in a specialized material that can safely be placed on the skin during cryo treatments.
When inflated via the air pump, the air chambers provide the knee joint with customizable compression that can be adjusted throughout the rehabilitation process. Once the desired amount of compression is achieved, the air pump can then be removed if desired.
