Utilized in the treatment of drop foot
The Air A Med Carbon Fiber AFO provides daily support for people suffering from a variety of foot ailments, including Drop Foot. This brace provides static dorsi-flexion and lateral stability for the entirety of the foot/ankle complex. The low arch and open heel allow for a low-profile design that ensures the brace can fit inside of most shoes. It also features a moldable/trimmable footplate and straps in order to better customize the brace to the patient.
The carbon fiber shell offers a lightweight yet durable strength, providing enhanced protection and flexible rebound to support a natural walking gait.
